2. Accuracy of information
The live position of a train is estimated from its timetable and, where available, from locations shared by passengers on board. Timetables, platforms, running days and fares can change, and trains can be late, diverted or cancelled without notice.
We try to keep the information correct and up to date, but we do not promise that it is complete, accurate or current at all times. Always confirm the time, platform and status of your train with official Indian Railways or IRCTC sources before you travel. You use the information on TrainLive.in at your own risk.
3. Sharing a train’s location
Some pages let a passenger on board share the train’s current position. If you use this feature, you agree to:
- share a location only while you are actually on that train
- not send false or misleading locations, or use scripts or tools to send updates
- let us show the shared position (without your name) to other visitors
We may reject updates that do not match the train’s route, limit how often updates can be sent, and remove any update at any time.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape or download the website’s content or data in bulk, by hand or with automated tools, without our written permission
- copy the website’s pages, design or data to publish them elsewhere
- try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to the website or its servers

The design, text, graphics, maps, code and the way the information is selected and arranged on TrainLive.in belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. You may view the pages and share links to them for personal, non-commercial use. Train names and railway names belong to their owners and are used only to describe the trains.

TrainLive.in is free and is supported by advertising, including ads served by Google and its partners. Ads and links may take you to other websites. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.
